The BOM Builder turns a job's parts into a Fulcrum-ready import — the three sheets Fulcrum needs (Items, Bill of Materials, Routing) with labor hours — plus cut lists, cut plans, and job reports. Sign in with your Microsoft account. Materials, GL rules, and saved jobs are shared across the shop.
GL codes fill in on their own: Product Type → Master GL Code and item Product Code → Make-item GL Code. You normally don't touch these — just confirm they look right before export. The rules live under Settings → GL Codes.
Settings holds the shared data every job draws on: Materials (sync from Fulcrum, save/refresh from Cloud, apply standard lengths), Operations, Stock & Kerf (sheet-nesting part-spacing + edge-margin by process and thickness), Users, GL Codes, and Labor Defaults (budgeted hours per product line). Import / Export settings as JSON is here too.
Pick which reports to generate. Greyed-out lines don’t apply to this job.

When a customer renumbers a part (e.g. Overly's SPLKMP0044 became SPLKMP0044-CS), their paperwork keeps the old number but Fulcrum only has the new one — and the upload fails with “No associated item found.” Rules here rewrite the old number to the correct one automatically whenever a job is opened or imported. A notice shows each time a rule fires, and the pre-export check flags any that slip through.

Defaults used by the Saw Cut Plan optimizer. Per-material override available in the Materials tab (Stock Lengths column).
Used by the Sheet Cut Plan. Part spacing = gap left between nested parts; edge margin = gap from the plate edge to the nearest part. Thickness bands match by ≤ (nearest band at or above the part thickness). Laser seeded from the Mazak chart, plasma & flame from OmniWin — edit any value.
The plate/sheet sizes you stock. Laser OK = the laser table can run it (max 5×10); uncheck for plasma/flame-only sizes (6×14, 8×20). Add sizes as you stock them. Shared across all users.
20 for 20-foot bar, 20, 24, 40, 48 for tubes that come in multiple lengths.Users who can sign in to this app. Passwords stored as SHA-256 hashes; never visible in plaintext.

Enter the total budgeted hours per operation for the whole job. The app will divide each total across the routing entries that use that operation, so every part gets a proportional share of the labor time.
