Used by the Sheet Cut Plan. Part spacing = gap left between nested parts; edge margin = gap from the plate edge to the nearest part. Thickness bands match by ≤ (nearest band at or above the part thickness). Laser seeded from the Mazak chart, plasma & flame from OmniWin — edit any value.

Sheet stock sizes (inches) — used by the Sheet Cut Plan

The plate/sheet sizes you stock. Laser OK = the laser table can run it (max 5×10); uncheck for plasma/flame-only sizes (6×14, 8×20). Add sizes as you stock them. Shared across all users.

How stock lengths work:
• Enter one or more lengths in feet the material is currently available in — e.g., 20 for 20-foot bar, 20, 24, 40, 48 for tubes that come in multiple lengths.
• The optimizer opens new bars at the LONGEST available length, then shrinks each finished bar down to the SMALLEST available length that still fits its cuts.
• Update a material's list when vendor availability changes — the optimizer uses only the lengths you have listed.
• Cut sizes (in the Items grid) stay in inches — only stock lengths are in feet.
• Typical kerf: 0.09375" (3/32") cold saw — default for Westmoreland. 0.125" (1/8") or 0.0625" (1/16") band saw also common. Adjust for your blade width.
